Christine's Biography

By the grace of God, Christine has ministered in public meetings in 49 nations, in the most far-flung islands and on every continent except Antarctica. Her healing and revival ministry has planted a number of "Tabernacle of David" Gospel tents, and she ministers daily on TV channels across the world. Her Exploits Ministry is fulfilling the Great Commission first in Jerusalem and to the ends of the earth in fulfillment of Daniel 11:32 and Acts 1:8.

Because of her love of both the Jewish and Arab peoples and all the spiritual discendants of Abraham in the Church, Christine has received a most unique ministry to share God's love and ministry of rereconciliation. She is the author of several books, including "Miracles Among Muslims."

Christine Darg encountered Jesus supernaturally as a child. Facing a life-threatening illness, she still remembers when Jesus appeared to her in an open vision as a Jewish king and healed her.

When she was 16 years old, Christine was seated in the back seat of a car that was hit by a train, but when she was flung into the road, her life was miraculously saved. The Lord said, "I have spared your life for a purpose!"

A third attempt on her life through a serious emergency happened before Christine and her husband moved to Jerusalem to begin a strategic television work. She had to learn much about spiritual warfare and healing through practical experiences.

Christine's father, a conservative Presbyterian minister, and her mother, an accomplished classical pianist and nationally award-winning composer, raised her with a deep love of the Christian faith and with a notable reverence for the Jewish people.

During a season of fasting, Christine was called by the Lord to the work of television. Furthemore, in an epic dream, the Lord Himself commissioned Christine to stand with His holy End-Time purposes concerning the preservation of Israel when all the nations encompass Jerusalem.

Following a successful career as an award-winning journalist in Richmond, Virginia, Christine and her broadcaster husband Peter moved to Jerusalem in 1982 to began a life-long love affair with the region and all its people. Truly Christine is a minister of reconciliation to both Jew and Arab and she appreciates all the historic and apostolic churches of the Middle East, enjoying favor in many quarters.

For five years in the 1990s, the Dargs traveled extensively with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke in Africa to document confirmation of the preaching of God's word with miraculous signs and wonders . . . the deaf hearing, the blind seeing and the lame walking. Christine has held her own large Gospel meetings primarily in Eastern Europe, the Philippines, Egypt, India and Pakistan with testimonies of many healings to the glory of God.

Christine's healing tours of the Holy Land, "Tabernacle of David" and "Women on the Walls" intercessory prayer conferences in Jerusalem are inspired by the ongoing fulfillment of Bible prophecies. As media specialists, the Dargs were involved from the beginning with the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, and Christine has been a speaker for many years during the annual Feast of Tabernacles celebration. They have spearheaded many conferences on behalf of Jewish-Christian relations both in the USA, Europe and Israel, and as coordinator of the Jerusalem Summit London at Westminster Hall and the House of Lords. Christine is a board member of Covenant Alliances, an evangelical group dedicated to the safety and security of the Jewish people. But Christine has also worked tirelessly as an evangelist in the Arab world to bring the Gospel of peace to the region. Therefore Christine's Exploits Ministry is truly unique in that she embraces all the peoples of the Bible Lands and gives of her ministry time, resources and efforts to all the parties involved. The Dargs have two sons educated at Oxford University who are serving the Lord.

Healings
Many persons have testified that they were healed through Christine’s ministry, including several who were delivered from the incapacity of lives in wheelchairs because of ME or other illnesses. Christine’s books document some of the healings in the Middle East through her ministry, such as a haj who was healed of lung cancer. Many who have travelled with Christine have testified to receiving from the Lord brand new kneecaps, healings from arthritis, chronic pain, lameness, heart ailments, diabetes, cancer and other maladies, including deliverance from oppressive spirits during baptisms and/or the laying on of hands. All glory to our Lord who is alive and who confirms the Gospel continually through this ministry! A resident of Cheltenham, England, wrote, "I watched your video 'Speak to the Mountain,' and it is brilliant. Please kindly send me six copies to give away so others can be healed. I have been healed of my thyroid problem and osteoperia."

Testimonies from Leaders
"To Christine and Peter Darg, We have seen tremendous moves of God together, which have prepared us for the much greater harvests to come. I pray the Lord will use you as a river-bed for His blessings to the nations. . . . I am very happy to see and hear how the Lord is honoring your boldness in Him, the anointing on your life . . . We love you and are praying for you."
~Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke

“Christine Darg as a woman is not supposed to do the daring things she does in the Middle East, but she does them, and her love for all of the peoples, Jews and Arabs alike, gives her great credibility and favor.”
~Rev. Canon Andrew White, director of Iraq Centre of Reconciliation

“We invited Christine Darg to air her programmes without charge on Revelation-Genesis TV because of the excellent content of her programmes.”
~Howard and Lesley Conder, founders Genesis-Revelation TV

“Although I serve on the boards in the UK of some of the world’s best known evangelists, such as Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke and John Bevere, I am perhaps most fortunate to be the Chairman of the Board of Christine’s ministry, because she is willing to go where few men will dare to go. She is a modern-day Deborah.” ~Dr. Tony Stone, international evangelist and Trustee Exploits Ministry

Do I Proselytize?

Because of the prophetic and front-line nature of my ministry, I am continually scrutinized as to what I believe and practice. I am “not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: it is the power of God to all who believe, to the Jew first.” (Romans 1: 16) However, I do not practice coercion or underhanded methods. MORE

Posted 3 September 2009 DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM DAY OCT. 1

For anyone who identifies with being a Daughter of Jerusalem, who resides in Jerusalem or who has visited in the past or would like to visit in the future!
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! They shall prosper that love thee." (Psalm 122: 6)
"O Jerusalem! Jerusalem....how often I would have gathered you as a mother hen gathers her chicks!" (Matthew 23: 37)
"Be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem....The LORD your God is in your midst...He will exult over you with joy....He will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3: 14 & 17)
"...the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem." (Micah 4: 8)

This group is an international fellowship of "Women on the Walls" who have travelled to Jerusalem for a number of years to hold strategic New Year prayer conferences and other events such as an upcoming "Daughter of Jerusalem Day" October 1, 2009. Our mission is to speak comfortably to Zion and to all of the peoples who live in Jerusalem--Jewish, Arab, Armenian et al-- and to support the Holy City in every way with our prayers, love and tourism.

We are non-denominational spiritual guardians upon the walls of Jerusalem according to Isaiah 62: 6-7, and "Mothers in Israel" in our own localities.

If you love Yerushalyim/Al Quds ("The Holy") and pray for her peace and safety, you are welcome to join this group, even if you have never visited the City of the Great King.

But we also have great faith to believe God for you to be able to make a pilgrimage--it will change your life! The Holy Land is called the Fifth Gospel because of the spirit of revelation outpoured when you read the Bible in its geographical connotation.

Members of this reverent and peaceful group love, honor and respect ALL the peoples of Jerusalem and desire to see Jerusalem become the worship capital of the world under the reign of Messiah, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. For Christian background believers this is Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMachiah. For our Jewish brethren, they are still awaiting the Messiah. Whether you are Jewish, Arab or from the beautiful nations of the world, you are drawn to join this group simply because Jerusalem is "YHVH Shammah," "The Lord is There," and his servants hold Jerusalem's stones and dust to be dear.

This WOMEN ON THE WALLS/DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM group also encourages intercessory prayer upon the walls of your own home towns and at the gates of your cities.

Posted 21 August 2009 WE ARE THE SALT OF THE AIR

This morning I received a group email with a sarcastic poem suggesting that every televangelist is a fraud and liar.

As I have shared on these pages, the most effective evangelist in the Middle East is Father Zakaria, and he's a "televangelist." It's the only way he can communicate his faith to a massive Muslim audience without being assassinated.

I concede there are some smooth-talking merchandisers among "televangelists," but we must not throw the baby out with the bath water.

Pat Robertson and the 700 Club are high profile yet genuine. I could spend pages writing on the impact of the 700 Club, for whom we been associated for years, of how many lives have been saved, how the 700 Club's Operation Blessing humanitarian arm is rated one of the highest charities on the integrity scale. (You can Google these things)

The great medium of communication MUST be occupied by preachers while porn, astrologists, other religions and everything else flood the channels.

Just as in the church on the ground, there is every kind of heretic, it will follow in the church on the air, but still the mass marketplace of TV MUST be seized for the Gospel.

I have the privilege to teach regularly on TV and don't ask for money....I just sincerely try to use that medium as best as I can.

Howard and Lesley Conder's Revelation and Genesis TV in the UK are the "Church Without Walls" on satellite TV and they run a very honest and tight ship. The Conders and their wonderful sacrificial team of people like Gordon and Lorna Pettie are truly the salt of the earth, or in this case, I should say, the salt of the air.

(Christine's TV programmes are seen regularly on Genesis and Revelation TV and there is a growing 24/7 video library at www.olivetree.org and www.cross.tv)

Posted 19 August 2009 NO JOKE--RESCUE MISSION AT GATES OF HELL

My father, of blessed memory, was a teacher-pastor, a true shepherd. He had a very dry sense of humor and a very straightforward look in his eyes--guileless, which made him so likeable.

Like many public speakers, my Dad had a whole repertoire of jokes....and a gift of remembering them, too. He collected jokes and loved a good, ironic cartoon. This week I found a poignant folder of witty cartoons he'd collected which, for sentimental reasons, I can't throw away.

Daddy could tell a really good joke on preachers, but he taught me never to tell a joke about Hell. The cartoonist Gary Larson, for example, has some clever cartoons about Hell, but my Dad would not have clipped them.

I remember one time when I was still young telling my Father a joke I'd heard about Hell. I've long forgotten the joke, but it had something to do with dentures and "weeping and gnashing" of teeth. I expected him customarily to laugh. But he wisely listened so he could respond, and his face became very somber. He corrected me, because Daddy was an ardent lover of souls and an evangelist pastor.

"I never tell a joke about Hell," he said. "Hell is much too serious a place to joke about. The Bible says there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth for eternity. We must do everything we can to save the lost. Never, never joke about Hell."

[The phrase "wailing and gnashing of teeth" is found seven times in the New Testament, the first being, "And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 8: 11-12)]

Since then, I've seen terrible visionary glimpses of Hell and precious lost souls falling into the abyss. That is why the famous quote of C.T. Studd (British cricketer and missionary to the Belgian Congo ) needs to be repeated: “Some wish to live within the sound of church or chapel bell. I wish to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell."

Every time we raise the Gospel banner and a Tabernacle of David in citadels of darkness, by God's grace we are effectively running a rescue station at the gates of Hell.

Will you pray for our ministry? We have upcoming Gospel meetings in Bethlehem, India and the Philippines.

Posted 18 August 2009 WHY DIDN'T GOD HEAL THE SCARS?

I love to be healed without a scar and I like to pray in my ministry for people not to have scars.

In Luke 24:40 the resurrected Jesus " shewed his hands and his feet" to the disciples as proof that it was Himself they were actually beholding in their bewilderment. After he was resurrected, Jesus still bore in his body the marks of his ordeal.

Have you ever thought about the possibility that God might have decided to erase from Jesus’ glorified body the scars, the reminders of his terrible ordeal? But he didn’t.

The wounds are there for eternity. Why did Yeshua exhibit His wounds to his disciples?

These wounds were, in fact, convincing evidence that he was the same person. He said, "Behold my hands and feet, that it is, I, myself."

After his suffering, in Acts 1: 3, he showed himself to the disciples and gave many "infallible proofs" that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of 40 days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

The wounds established his identity, that he was the very same Lord whom they had followed--it was the very same person who was now before them, for there was the seal of his sufferings upon him.

He was the same person; the hands and feet could testify to that. Had there not been visible evidence of our Saviors sufferings, it is very likely that his disciples would have doubted His identity.

Have you been shocked by the change in a friend's external appearance? A friend of mine not too long ago didn't recognize another mutual friend because he had lost a lot of weight. She was standing right next to him, and talking about him, but didn’t realize he was beside her because of his altered appearance.

Well, the disciples looked upon His very face, but, even then some of them doubted. Peter, James, and John, HAD, in fact, seen Jesus transfigured on the Mt. of Transfiguration when Jesus stood with Moses and Elijah and, when his garments were super white. But the other disciples had only seen him as a man of sorrows; they had not seen him as the glorious Lord, and, therefore, I guess it was only natural for some of them to doubt who he was.

However, the nail-prints, the pierced side, which they examined closely, were definite tell-tale marks which they could not dispute. And they all were convinced and confessed that he was the Lord.

And eight days later, even doubting Thomas was constrained to cry, " My Lord and my God!"
Eight is the number of new beginnings. Absentee Thomas, by the way was a type of Israel, who will eventually make a similar confession of the Lordship of Yeshua.

Jesus WAS different.

He was now bloodless. He sweat his blood in the Garden of Gethsemane and poured it all out at the whipping post and at the Cross. Can you imagine that a man could pass through the process of death, through such astonishing agony, and yet there should be no change in his visible appearance? Previously His body was flesh and blood; now His body was transmuted into as he Himself described in one of his post-resurrection appearances, not flesh and blood but “flesh and bone.” All of his sacrificial blood had been poured out for you and me.

Surely, therefore, he was pale, ethereal, and yet he said he was definitely not a ghost nor a phantom.

However, his miraculous powers seemed to be increased as he vanished and was capable of walking through walls.

But basically it was the same body which had been laid in the tomb. He asked for food and eat in front of them on a couple of occasions, at one time preparing breakfast on the beach.

Jesus’ wounds of crucifixion are signs of our Lord’s exploits as the world’s only Saviour.

No other prophet has permanent wounds on their body throughout eternity. Jesus was declared to be Lord through the resurrection of the dead.

Why should Yeshua WEAR THESE WOUNDS IN HEAVEN AND OF WHAT PURPOSE ARE THEY?

The wounds of Messiah will be a theme of eternal wonder. His wounds are ornaments and eternal trophies of his love for us.

Posted 17 August 2009 DOES GOD FAIL HIS EXAM?

I am reposting this, because it appeared below as a wall photo caption, and I want my note to be archived in a note format.

Can WE actually put God Almighty to the test?

There is one instance in the Bible where testing God is allowed. I wonder if you know what it is?

One of my friends started a discussion on his Facebook page about tithing. He wrote:
"How much did Jesus mention the tithe? If it is so important why didn't he teach on it?.... "
I answered that the Lord DID mention tithing in Luke 11: 42:
"How terrible it will be for you Pharisees! You give a tenth of your mint, spices, and every kind of herb, but you neglect justice and the love of God. These are the things you should have practiced, without neglecting the others."

In that verse, the Lord was saying that there is no need for one set of duties to rule out another; but of the greater duties, our Lord says, "Ye ought to have done" them; and of the other obligations, "ye ought not to leave them undone."

On any subject it is important to look at the entire tenure of Scripture.
In Malachi we are told if we rob God, we are not just cursed, but we are "cursed with a curse," and that's a double whammy.

Some of you will say, but we are under a new and better covenant.
I can testify to the glory of God that I am debt free and blessed by the open windows of heaven because I learned to tithe at the knee of my godly Father, of blessed memory.
I hope this will help you in your spiritual walk and blessings from the Lord. My Father taught me, "you cannot afford not to tithe" because he wanted me to be blessed.

Can I please point out the purpose of tithing, found in Deuteronomy 14:22-23 (NLT). It is to “teach you always to fear the Lord your God.” By practicing good tithing habits, Scripture assures us that we are demonstrating to Yah first and foremost above anybody else....our desire to put him first place in our lives.

I find it very fascinating that tithing is the only area where God permits and commands us to test him. Malachi 3: 10, "Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."

I have tested YHVH Yireh, the Lord my Provider, and he gets an A+ from me!

Have YOU tested Him and if so, what grade do YOU give him?

Posted 17 August 2009 THE LORD ACCOMPLISHED GREAT EXPLOITS ON THE CROSS

The world does not look at the cross as a place of doing great exploits. The world sees Jesus as a pitiful victim.

But Jesus accomplished great and mighty exploits as he hung on the tree. Let’s look at the Gospel in the Tenach, (Old Testament), specifically ISAIAH chapter 53 verse 5 and we will look at one of the amazing messianic prophecies written hundreds of years before the crucifixion:

"He was pierced through (chalal) for our transgressions, He was crushed (Hebrew--daka) for our iniquities; The chastening (correction, discipline, punishment) for our well-being {fell} upon Him,And by His scourging (stripes, wounds) we are healed."

Over in the New Testament on the other side of the cross, 1 Peter 2: 24 quotes this messianic passage and declares that by his stripes we WERE, past tense, healed. Now let’s go back to Isaiah Chapter 53 and verse 4, "Surely he bore our griefs" it says in English but in Hebrew he bore our "(CHOLI, SICKNESS, DISEASE) And he carried our sorrows MAKOB)" physical/mental pains

What an historical exploit Yeshua accomplished on the cross. Physicians testify he suffered every category of wound known to mankind so that by his all-encompassing wounds you and I are healed.

Here in Jerusalem at the Notre Dame Centre of the Vatican there is a permanent exhibition on the Shroud of Turin, believed by many to be the actual burial shroud of Jesus.

Although the Catholic church does not claim the shroud is authentically the burial cloth of Jesus, they do claim it is an icon. Icon means , literally, a holy picture that tells a sacred story.

Many years ago here in Jerusalem we believed God for a museum of the crucifixion, and the Shroud exhibition is a wonderful answer to prayer, because it is so convicting. Atheists are going through this exhibition and coming out believers!

After examining the Shroud of Turin, a medical expert said: The body was that of an adult male, 5'10" in length. Estimated body weight is 175 pounds. The body appears to be about 30 to 35 years of age. In the forehead and in the scalp is a series of blood stains.... These appear not only on the front part of the forehead, but also on the back part of the scalp and high at the vertex of the head... The configuration is such that the implement was like a cap which rested on the head.

The falls of our Lord along the way to the Cross were unavoidable... beause of the jostling of the crowds and the heavy weight of the crossbeam. Sometimes he would have to walk sideways and would not see and would slip. The consequences are clear on the Shroud. Even if you don’t believe it to be the actual burial cloth of Jesus, as a relic it is a telling picture of what it would have been like to have been pushed through the crowded streets of Jerualem on the way to the cross... The knee cap on the left leg has a very bad laceration.

Jesus took piercing in every area of His body that relates to the sin of man. These are fascinating exploits that He accomplished for you and me. The Holy Spirit distributes "gifts" (plural) of healing in the Body of Messiah. In his mercy, each of us is given a piece of the puzzle. In my healing ministry, by the grace of God, people are frequently healed of knee problems.

In the first place, the Romans platted a crown of thorns and put it on His Holy head and beat Him with rods. This represents our thought life, the theatre of our mins. Man in his mind is the enemy of God. Jesus, the son of Man, became guilty for our rebellion, and for each and every one of our unwholesome thoughts. If we will repent, believe on Him and call upon His Name, God will forgive us, cleanse out thoughts and transform us into new creations with pure thoughts, purge by the Blood of the Lamb.

Secondly, the Roman soldiers nailed His Holy hands to the cross. John 20:25 reveals the scars in His hands after His resurrection! Those Holy hands were wounded on behalf of every wicked deed mankind has ever committed with our hands! d

The wounds on his knees represent Yeshua paying the price for every time you and I have bowed down to an idol, either literally or figuratively.

Why did they drive the nail through His feet? Man's feet have taken him into darkness, despair, drugs, immorality, abortion, robbery, worldliness, you name it. Every step of man in rebellion to God was laid on Jesus' feet! God "laid on Him the iniquity of us all" on Calvary! (Isaiah 53:6).

Finally, in John 19:34, the soldiers came to break the criminals' legs to speed up their death so that the Passover holiday would not be desecrated. When the soliders came to Jesus, He was already dead. Just to make sure, however, one of the soldiers with a spear "pierced His side." What does the side wound represent? The side represents companionship, relationship and fellowship.

Oh, Hallelu-Yah, what an exploit--Jesus took a piercing for every failed relationship on our behalf with people and with God!

Furthermore, theologians often point out that the first man Adam was put to sleep by God and God took from Adam’s side a rib and formed Eve his wife. On the Cross, Jesus fell asleep in death and from his side God birth his bride the Church by water and by blood.

Torah portion ( "Behold") A BLESSING AND A CURSE (a note by Christine Darg)
The week's upcoming Torah portion ( "Behold") begins with Deuternomy 11:26 and concerns our perogative to choose a blessing or a curse.

"Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse...a blessing if you obey and a curse if you disobey the Lord's commandments."

The choice seems more than obvious. But the curse is a free-will option.

God sets before us B?rakah; I'll gladly take it!

One of my very favorite verses has helped me countless times in places considered to be dangerous and/or abounding with curses.

The verse is Proverbs 26: 2: "a curse undeserved shall not come."

When we are walking in a holy manner before God, walking according to the precepts of the Lord (and a lot of people can no longer tolerate the holiness message); when we are covered by the blood of Jesus/Yeshua, keeping short accounts daily saying, "Abba, search my heart, see if there be any wicked way within me," then no curse can befall us.

Look at Galatians 3. "Messiah has redeemed us from the curse of the Law"– how did He do that? "Having become a curse for us (for it is written, ((it is written in the Torah)) 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"

When our Lord hung on the execution stake of the Cross, all of the curses of the Law were legally laid upon his body. He who was unacquainted with sin literally became a sin offering for us so we might in exchange become the righteousness of God.

For all who choose to enter into this blessing by faith......generational curses are also neutralized at the Ground Zero of the cross.

A curse without cause cannot touch us.

I had to know this, because I’m moving throughout the nations where all sorts of curses are going on. Satanically inspired people curse ministries, and if I would believe for one moment that those curses had any power, I would be defeated.

One time I was in a meeting here in Jerusalem; the Holy Spirit was moving and there were gifts of the spirit in manifestation. But then one misguided woman called me out of the group and prophesied over me according to her understanding.

Have you ever heard anyone prophesy according to their understanding? That's what she was doing. She was not prophesying by the Spirit of God. We need the gift of the discerning of spirits.

She knew I was preaching a lot in the Mideast, so this woman began to prophesy out of her spirit, "Oh, they’re sacrificing animals against you; they’re hurling curses against you."

But I said to myself, Proverbs 26: 2, "the curse undeserved cannot alight."

God, by His grace, gave me this mentality.

Thank God for the Word of God...with it, we have zero fear! But we must know God and his word to do exploits.

However, there are conditions with God to receive some blessings. With all kinds of sin rampant in the church today, many "believers" dangerously assume, ‘Well, grace is covering me’.

There are consequences to our actions whether we are believers or unbelievers.

In Genesis 12 v 3, God said, "I will bless those who bless you (Abraham) and I will curse him (down to the individual) who curses you." That word curse in Hebrew means to lightly esteem, so it’s not just someone who yells profanity against the Jewish people.....
even if we lightly esteem the Jews, then God says "I am going to curse you."

There is a prosperity message, but I don’t hear the prosperity preachers teaching the prosperity of God in Psalm 122: 6-- "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you." This is a great reason why my family prospers

(Excerpted from Christine Darg's message "Blessings and Curses" at www.olivetree.org or www.cross.tv)

13 August 2009 LET ISHMAEL LIVE!

It’s not enough to pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem; we must make room in our hearts also for the healing and salvation of the descendants of Abraham’s other son Ishmael.

Healing between the descendants of Israel and Ishmael will happen when the Arabs are thoroughly delivered from the Pharoah system that is holding them in bondage, and when they submit willingly and with great joy and relief to YHVH through knowledge of Yesua, al Messia, (Arabic).

I hope we all know by now that Islam means submission. . . .submission to a desert principality, but a day is coming, as we deliver the Muslims through corporate prayer and fasting, that they will submit to Yehovah.

The peoples of this region are terribly wounded people. Israel’s Arab brothers are wounded due to a spirit of rejection and jealousy and until these wounds are healed, Ishmael can never live in peace with Isaac.

God has called you and me to bind up these wounds! We must learn to pray for both houses, the house of Israel and the house of Islam.

The Jewish people are terribly wounded in spirit and body . . .The Arabs are wounded in a different way. . . . with a spirit of rejection and jealousy. They are still competing for a father’s love, although long ago they were expelled from the tent of Abraham, a tent which ironically is celebrated to this day for its magnanimous hospitality, where even a trinity of angels was entertained.

You and I are called to carry out present day truth to minister mercy and reconciliation to Abraham’s son Isaac, so that Isaac can laugh again.

But God also calls us as instruments of his mercy equally to minister deliverance to Ishmael, whose name means "God hears," so that Ishmael will HEAR the Gospel and be reconciled to Abba father and be healed from his terrible spirit of rejection.

Islam memorializes and perpetuates Ishmael’s rejection and pain since one of Islam’s “mantras” is that God has no son and therefore God cannot be a father. Wounded people tend to wound others.

From my childhood I was unusually concerned for the destiny of Israel because Jesus had appeared to me as the Hebrew Lord and healed me.

Later, after moving to Israel to serve the Jews, I was truly surprised by joy. I discovered the Arab’s openness to the Gospel! I had only thought stereotypically of Arabs as antagonists to Israel. But through doors that the Lord supernaturally opened for me to evangelize among the Arabs, I feel in love with them while at the same time, the Holy Spirit protected me from picking up the Arabs’ offense against the Jewish people.

So God began to give me a totally unique ministry with my feet in both camps. . . .On the one hand first to love and minister mercy to Israel and on the other hand. . .. to be a deliverer in Zion to the Arabs-- to set them free from the tyranny of bondage, rejection, jealousy and anything that handicaps many of them from wholeness.

One billion souls are in bondage to a religious, economic and political system. Hagar, the mother of Ishmael, was a bondwoman, a slave, to the free woman Sarah.

A lot of professing Christians have not understood or perhaps appreciated this calling. Even some Christian Zionists have despised my work among the Arabs. . . . but God is a strategist and he sees the bigger picture.

I say to you..... every believer should have a love for the Jews’ Semitic half brothers, the Arabs—if you do not, you are not seeing the bigger picture. We are legally and positionally seated with Messiah in the heavenly places, so we should be able to see the bigger picture!

Although Israel IS the apple of his eye, when he looks down from heaven, Yah doesn’t see only Israel, but he also envisions a Messianic league of nations that will soon share a highway of holiness in the soon-coming Millennium.

The Lord declares in Isaiah 19, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria the work of my hands and Israel mine inheritance.” This is the bigger picture. Can we see that? Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria and all three nations cover a large territory where the descendants of Abraham’s two sons will live in peace and harmony.

Have you noticed that some of the MOST bitter conflicts occur in families? Jesus said, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own household.” So consider with me the dysfunctional family of Abraham.

Since Sarah was barren, one day she lost faith and could no longer wait on God, so she manipulated the situation. Sarah devised a scheme to ask her husband to bed her Egyptian handmaid, and Abraham didn’t even argue about it; in fact, he was amazingly compliant . . . . but this union produced Ishmael, and then talk about tension! As Diana, Princess of Wales, once said, “There were three people in this marriage so it was a bit crowded.”

For 13 years, Abraham was content to accept Ishmael as his first-born son, but the Lord intervened with another plan. . . . When Abram was 99 years old and Sarah was 90, YHVH said they would conceive Isaac and that God would definitely establish his covenant with Isaac and not with Ishmael.

Abraham’s response was, “Oh, let Ishmael live before you!” That was the loyal cry of a father’s heart. Yehovah replied, "As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation" (Gen 17:20).

Although he was terribly distressed about it, Abraham expelled Hagar and Ishmael into the desert with scant provisions—bread and a skin of water (how humiliating!) The Bible says they wandered—staggering in shock and disbelief at the cruel reality that had befallen them.

The lyrics of the popular song, "El Shaddai," refer to Hagar’s sorrow:

"To the outcast on her knees,You were the God who really sees, And by your might, You set your children free."

It was a terrible blow to Ishmael’s ego at the impressionable bar mitzvah age to be rejected by his father. The spirit of rejection that befell him would have far reaching consequences.

Before long as they wandered in disbelief and despair, the lad was dying of thirst but suddenly a messenger, the angel of the Lord, calls from heaven and shows Hagar a spring of water. Ishmael’s life is saved. But the spirit of rejection has never left him.

When a child receives a spirit of rejection, he is still thirsty and jealous for his father’s love. We believers in this generation are destined by the Lord of the Harvest to minister to Hagar and Ishmael LIVING WATER so that they will never thirst again for approval and so that they can be accepted into the beloved, the family of God, through Messiah.

God WILL save the Muslims as you and I corporately fast and pray for a mass deliverance from this spirit of rejection, for YHVH has the power to do it! That is why the Lord moved upon our ministry to start the Every Friday Fast during the daylight hours when radical preachers foment hatred in mosques.

How ironical that at the very time when God is fulfilling this promise to Abraham that truly Ishmael shall live. . . Satan, because he knows his time is short, has desperately inspired a culture of death. . . mothers sending their sons and children off with bombs strapped to their bodies. Will we minister the living waters for which Ishmael still suffers a raging thirst?

Since Ishmael means God hears. . . . will Ishmael hear through you and me? In Genesis Chapter 16 Although Hagar and her son were banished into a parching hot desert, God responds to their humiliation assuring Hagar that He will make Ishmael into a great nation, free them from the sorrow of oppression, but with the addition of a disturbing prophecy, "He shall be a 'wild donkey'; his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him.'"

Clearly the Lord's plan and will is to "bless" Ishmael and to "make him fruitful." But how shall the Lord bless anyone compared to a wild donkey? Isn’t a wild donkey stubborn, unbroken and difficult to tame? The only solution for Ishmael is the same answer for all of us sinners and rebels: we all need to be born again. By the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, Ishmael, you and me--we all must be tamed like the gentle colt on which Jesus rode into Jerusalem. Say Amen!

Elsewhere I have written of the enmity between the brothers and how there was some reconciliation at their father's burial. However, like many family reunions, relations can be cordial but not fervent Gospel love. Ultimately the animosity and perpetual enmity can only be broken through the cross of Jesus and the binding together of the one new man. . . . . as the dividing wall of enmity falls. As Ephesians 2 says: The cross of Messiah shatters the enmity because we are all now indebted to the same Savior and submitted to the same Lord.

In my reflections and research I have discovered and noted comparisons between the Isaac and Ishmael accounts in Genesis chapters 21 and 22, but the following list is not exhaustive:

-- In Genesis Chapter 21, Sarah insists that Abraham should forsake his firstborn son, Ishmael; In Genesis 22, it is HaShem himself who insists that Abraham sacrifice his son Isaac
-- In both heart-rending instances, Abraham dutifully obeys to forsake and to forfeit both of his beloved sons.
-- In both chapters, Abraham rises "early in the morning" and does not procrastinate
-- Abraham’s obedience seals the fate of both sons. How does he bring himself to obey? by entrusting the lives of both of his sons into God's Providence.
-- Ishmael’s voice cries for water. As Isaac is bound, he asks for a lamb, “where is the lamb?" Both are Gospel types. . . both sons need living water and the sacrificial lamb of God
--Abraham answers Isaac, “The Lord who sees will provide.” That is the same heart attitude that Abraham must have experienced when he turned his back on Ishmael. Abraham no doubt said within himself, “The Lord who sees will provide for him and his mother.” In fact, Hagar testified at the spring of life-saving water, “You are a God who sees" and so the well was named “well of the Living One who sees me."
--In both chapters God’s angel intervenes just in time to save the lives of the two sons.

Because of God’s everlasting covenant and the Messiah’s lineage, Judaism and Christianity have emphasized the Isaac account in Genesis 22. This is theologically correct. However, can you also see that Genesis is greatly concerned for the welfare and blessing of BOTH of Abraham's sons? The long passages about Ishmael are there because God cares.

In many ways, although the analogy is not perfect, Ishmael reminds me of the Prodigal Son. That parable is also called the PARABLE OF THE LOST SON who is finally coming home to the Father in these last days, and Abba is running out to meet Ishmael along the desert roads with divine dreams and visions. . . . as the Spirit is being mercifully outpoured in the Islamic world.

In many of the lands where Ishmael’s physical and spiritual descendants live, the Gospel is blocked but the Holy Spirit passes through walls and borders in dreams and visions. The Father God is throwing his arms with unconditional love around Ishmael’s neck! He is bringing Ishmael home into the bosom of Father Abraham, putting the robe of Messiah’s righteousness on his shoulders, Gospel shoes on his feet and a signet ring of love and Gospel authority on his finger. How privileged I am to be a part of this scene as an evangelist!

There is rejoicing and dancing and merriment in the dry desert of Islam as Ishmael and his descendants are coming home to Father God whom Ishmael has always craved. As somebody has said, "There is no God but Abba and Yeshua is his messenger and son!"

When you hear the cries from the minaret, don’t shrink, but let the poignant cry stir your soul to hear the cry of the lost son who was dead but who is alive again. God the father says, “my son Ishmael was lost but now he is found.” Hallelu-Yah!

To our finite minds the Holy Spirit moving in the Islamic world is “out of the box” thinking but, in fact, the prophet Joel predicts that in the last days the Spirit of God will be poured out indiscriminately on all flesh. God's concern goes beyond the boundaries of "the people of God.. . . . At this moment in time and history, God is especially demonstrating his love for the Muslims because he is appearing to so many of Ishmael’s descendants in dreams and visions, saving them, I believe in answer to Abraham’s prayers that Ishmael would live.

In my book "Miracles Among Muslims: the Jesus Visions," I document the fact that a great percentage of Muslim background believers in Jesus have come to faith because of a direct dream or vision about the Lord from the Holy Spirit. After all, God promised to bless his descendants and they can only be blessed when they receive eternal life through Jesus the Messiah.

How will God set his children free? God always calls a Moses, a Deborah, an Esther, a Paul; God uses a preacher, a leader . . . he sets the captives free through intercessors and the bold and fearless messengers of truth. That’s going to be me and you, right?

Can you see that when Ishmael truly lives, Israel will also live, because Ishmael will no longer oppose, be jealous and try to destroy the son of promise? May Ishmael be freed and see that he is is a SON OF PROMISE!

May The Lord flood our hearts right now with His love for Ishmael just as he has already flooded our hearts for the Jewish people

POSTED AUGUST 2009 WHAT IS THE NUMBER ONE HEALING SCRIPTURE?

Friends, this is an important healing note.

What is the number one Scripture quoted for healing?

During ministry time, I ask people who are seeking the laying on of hands for healing to be thinking about a Scripture to stand on..... to be sure they KNOW God wants them to be healed.

In 9 cases out of 10, the people answer:
1 PETER 2: 24 “By His stripes [wounds] you were healed.”

Take a very important moment with me to examine the context of this oft-quoted verse. Let’s call the Apostle Peter to the witness stand to testify concerning the character of Yeshua, whom we are to follow, by whose stripes we were healed.

1 Peter 2: 22-24, "... who committed no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judges righteously: 24 who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

So this famous healing scripture is quoted in the context of following the example of our precious Lord and emphasizes that we should be dead to sin.

You may say, oh Christine, this is the age of grace, sloppy agape, God will just have mercy on me and heal me because I’m a believer. Do we assume we will keep sinning and still expect God to heal us?

--Peter testified guile was not found in his mouth. What is guile? Guile is definted as insidious cunning in attaining a goal; crafty or artful deception; duplicity. Trickery, fraud craftiness

--He did not revile back (to speak abusively)

--He did not threaten when he was persecuted / misunderstood

--He committed himself to Him who judges righteously (oh, I LOVE the freedom of that one!)

So, although salvation IS by grace, we are still expected to walk in a holy manner before God and to be as mannerly as possible, even when somebody offends us.

I have not mastered these things. Have you reached perfection? Nevertheless, we should have a mindset…..to have no sin ... as a goal....and a clear conscience when we come to the Lord for healing.

Posted July 14 MENTALITY OF AN OVERCOMER

By Christine Darg
Sometimes pilgrims who visit Jerusalem tell me they feel oppressed by cries from minarets. But those poignant sounds remind me of where I am and to whom I am called..... and that one day every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord.

I sense the Lord in Jerusalem more than any other place because this is the City of the Great King!

We should believe that God honors our faith at all times. And we should always know the presence of the Holy Spirit. This must be our mindset.

One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 26 v 2. ‘And so a curse undeserved shall not come (alight).’ I want you always to keep that in mind. When we are walking in a holy manner before God, walking according to the precepts of the Lord (and a lot of people can no longer tolerate the holiness message nowadays), when we are covered by the inpenetrable shelter of the blood of Jesus, keeping short accounts daily saying, ‘Lord search my heart, see if there be any wicked way within me,’ then NO CURSE can come upon us!

The Lord has delivered us from the curse of the Law. Let’s look at Galatians 3 v 13 reminding ourselves that ‘Messiah has redeemed us from the curse of the Law’ – how did He do that? ‘Having become a curse for us (for it is written, in the Torah, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’’.'

So we realise that in the Gospel when our Lord hung on the execution stake of the cross, all of the curses of the Law were fulfilled and laid upon his body. Although he never sinned, on the cross Jesus literally became a sin offering for us so we might become the righteousness of God.

When we’re walking in a holy manner before God, not giving place to the enemy, not allowing the tongue to run riot and not giving ground to the evil one, a curse without cause cannot touch us.

I HAD to learn this. When I’m moving throughout the nations, there are all sorts of curses going on all the time. There are satanically inspired people who try to curse ministries, and if I would believe for one moment that their curses had power to penetrate the blood of Jesus, I would be defeated.

I was attending a meeting here in Jerusalem and a woman called me out of the group and prophesied over me according to her understanding. Have you ever heard anyone prophesy according to their understanding? People sometimes think they are prophesying by the Spirit of God, but they are actually prophesying out of their own human spirit.

This woman knew I was ministering a lot in the Mideast and in Third World nations, so she began to prophesy publicly that blood sacrifices were being done against me and curses were being hurled at my ministry.

The word she was prophesying became more terrible by the moment. If I had received this word into my spirit, I would have become weighed down and oppressed. The person conducting the meeting could not discern that this was a word proceeding from a human spirit, nor was there any apparent awareness that the Lord has given us authority over demons.

But I said to myself, "I’m not receiving this, because the Word of God tells me 'the curse undeserved cannot alight'."

God, by His Grace, gave me this mentality. Thank God for the Word of God and when we know the Word, we can have zero fear! But we must know God and his word to do exploits. (Daniel 11: 32)

Reinhard Bonnke has this mentality. Once when Reinhard was met at the airport in India, the sponsoring pastor said, "Pastor Bonnke, do you feel it?"

"Feel what?" Reinhard said.

"The presence in the atmosphere of India's millions of gods!"

"No!" Reinhard said, "I am only aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit."

That is the mentality of an overcomer!

What is a Watchman? by Christine Darg

“I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day and night.  You who are his servants and by your prayers put Yehovah in remembrance of His promises.  Keep not silent and give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the Earth.”  (Isaiah 62:6)

Many of our nations have flaunted such abominable sins in the face of God that we are worthy of being wiped out.  But God in his mercy withholds his hand of judgment because he hears the cries of faithful watchmen who earnestly beseech Him to spare our nations and to avert judgment.

Biblical watchmen were guards on the city walls, on the watchtowers and on the city gates to scan the horizon for messengers and potential attackers.  But the prophets were also spiritual watchmen who were invested with divine authority.  This authority is explained in Jeremiah Chapter 1:

“See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”  (Jeremiah 1:10)

The New Testament informs us that legally and positionally we are seated with Messiah in the heavenlies far above all rule, power and dominion.  As believers who rule and reign with Messiah, we possess His delegated authority over nations and over our city gates.

In Isaiah 21:11-12, a double question is asked by an Edomite, “Watchman, what of the night, what of the night?” Matthew Henry's commentary notes some salient points on this interesting passage concerning the importance of the watchman ministry (emphases mine):

Watchmen  Are to Take Notice of Enemy’s Manuevers

“As the man of Macedonia, in a vision, desired Paul to come over and help them (Acts 16:9), so this man of Mount Seir, in a vision, desired the prophet to inform and instruct them. . . .The question is serious: What of the night? It is put to a proper person, the watchman, whose office it is to answer such enquiries. He repeats the question, as one in care, as one in earnest, and desirous to have an answer. Note,

(1.) God's prophets and ministers are appointed to be watchmen, and we are to look upon them as such. They are as watchmen in the city in a time of peace, to see that all [is] safe, to knock at every door by personal enquiries (“Is it locked? Is the fire safe?”), to direct those that are at a loss, and check those that are disorderly, Song 3:3; 5:7. They are as watchmen in the camp in time of war, Ezek 33:7. They are to take notice of the motions of the enemy and to give notice of them, to make discoveries and then give warning; and in this they must deny themselves.

(2.) It is our duty to enquire of the watchmen, especially to ask again and again, What of the night? for watchmen wake when others sleep. “

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, when he served as mayor of Jerusalem, visited one of our prayer meetings in the Pasha’s Throne Room at the American Colony Hotel in East Jerusalem and observed us intercessors in action.  He said we believers were like protective walls and that we functioned as honorary “spiritual members of the IDF,” the Israeli Defense Force.  His observations were profound.  Just as the Lord surrounds Jerusalem with the walls of salvation--and salvation in Hebrew means Yeshua-- so we believers are Yeshua, His body.  Thus we, too, are protective walls, lively stones! Wherever you and I are stationed around the world, mystically, we are a part of that strategic wall at any given time day or night.  We humbly ask the Lord to help us never to make a breach in that wall through laziness, prayerlessness or indifference.  May we indeed close up the breaches and be joined in unity.  In His Body, we are positioned joint-to-joint to supply strength and the Spirit’s gifts to one another and to our elders in the faith, the beleaguered ancient people of God—the Jewish people in the Promised Land.

Jesus told us very clearly to watch and pray.  Notice the divine order:  He did not say, “Pray and watch,” but He said “watch” and then “pray.”  This is because you cannot pray intelligently until you have first watched.  You must see something in the natural, or in the spirit, and then you can pray.  Many times we may run off to pray, but we haven’t done our homework in the watching. And then perhaps we pray amiss.

The Holy Spirit is leading us in the coming days into a double watching – to watch the Lord, and to watch the enemy of the Lord’s purposes.

Jesus did not ask Simon Peter, “to pray with me for one hour.” Rather, He asked, “Could you not watch with me one hour?”  (Matthew 26:40).  In other words, even in Gethsemane Yeshua did not ask his sleepy disciples to engage only in the work of prayer.  He asked them to watch, to stay awake—to be alert!

Watch therefore means to be alert, to be on guard, to note the time and the season, to observe what is transpiring. Thus we are able to intercede intelligently to stop Satan and to foil the devil’s plans so that the Lord’s holy purposes can proceed on schedule.

Although Jesus was a man of prayer (and spent whole nights in prayer), much of His time was spent watching the Father.  This is a fact--He said,   “The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. “ (John 5:19)

The Holy Spirit desires us to enter the realm of seeing so that we don’t just go off and do things because they are a good or religious idea.   But after we have spent time with the Lord to watch and to see what He would have us to do, then we will act. When we see His will in a time of watching, then we can work it out with confidence and assurance.  And we’ll know that we are accomplishing the will of the Lord--not just a good idea, but His idea.

In Mark 13:37, Jesus exhorts, “What I say to you  [disciples] I say to all – watch.”  Here watch means “to stay awake, be alert, don’t be taken off guard by the enemy.”

Most of the watch passages in the Bible apply to three things:

--Looking for the fulfillment of the Lord’s prophetic purposes

–Waiting for the Coming of the Lord

--Staying alert in the Spirit

Because we have been designed by God to need sleep, the powerful seduction of sleep is difficult to overcome!  However, the Apostle Paul sets an example in 2 Corinthians 6: 5, stating that he was characteristically often in “labors and watchings.”  The Amplified Bible renders this verse ‘in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labours, sleepless watching. . . .

Paul also admonished us in Colossians 4:2, “be watchful in prayer.” What does that mean?  To paraphrase,  “pray with your eyes open!”  Praying is usually an activity of talking to the Lord with our eyes closed-- to shut out distractions.  But watching has everything to do with keeping our eyes wide open.

We cannot ignore these Biblical commands to watch.

The Holy Spirit is imparting revelation. This is the hour for watchmen to arise.  We don’t just pray, but we have this Watchman Ministry of guarding.  We have authority to step between Satan and the Lord’s program to contain and to cut off evil.  We must anticipate and foil through prayer the Enemy’s plans in the Name of the Lord.

There are levels of authority in the Body of Messiah.  Yehovah may not have appointed you yet as a watchman over your city or country.  He may be requiring you only to pray for all men in a general way, as the Bible commands us all to do, and to be the watchman over yourself and your family.

Some persons, however, for reasons known to the Lord, are granted a specific Watchman Ministry, as commissioned by the Lord.  But until or unless we receive such a specific commission, there are general activities to which we are all called—(1) studying God’s Word, (2) witnessing and testifying,  (3) making disciples,  (4) almsgiving and tithing to the work of the ministry (5) general praying (6) praying for the peace of Jerusalem and (7) healing the sick and delivering persons from demonic oppression.

Let’s look at the prayer duties that EVERY believer shares:

1.  The Lord’s Prayer.  The Lord gave a “how to” class on the subject of prayer. Jesus taught us to pray “after this manner,” not in a routine way, but covering the following points on a daily basis:

Humble Adoration:  Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name
Prophetic Declarations: Thy kingdom come.
Ruling Prayer:  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Petitions: Give us this day our daily bread.
Settling Accounts with Godand a Maintaining clear conscience:  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Supplications, Intercessions:  And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Praise & Worship:  For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen
(Matthew 6: 9-13)

2.  Daily prayer for all men.

3.  Supplication to the Lord of the Harvest to send forth more laborers.

4.  Maintaining an unbroken attitude of prayer or communion, fellowship with the Spirit.
5.
Prayer for the peace of Jerusalem.

6.  Prayer in the Spirit.

7.  Watching in prayer for the coming of the Lord.  We must be circumspect as we see the Day approaching! God told the prophet Daniel exactly when Messiah would come the first time (Daniel 9: 25-26). Some, including the brilliant scientist Sir Isaac Newton, have believed that this same passage holds the key to the timing of Messiah's Second Advent.  Newton, who studied Bible prophecies and was granted great revelation, left us the following admonition in the “Yahuda Manuscript” which is stored in a Jerusalem  library : “. . . it is also our duty to search with all diligence into these Prophesies. . . . why should we think he will escuse us for not searching into the Prophesies which he hath given us to know Antichrist by? . . . Antichrist was to seduce the whole Christian world and therefore he may easily seduce thee if thou beest not well prepared to discern him.”

The Bible clearly states we do not know the DAY or the HOUR of the Lord’s return, but we watchmen should know the general time. The question of WHEN causes some believers to cringe, protest, or even to scoff! They quickly point out that Jesus said, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man.” (Matthew 24: 36)  They also mention Paul's words that the day of the Lord will come like “a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:2)

However, the Apostle Paul also observed, “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 4)  Paul therefore clearly meant that alert watchmen will NOT be caught off guard, and we will have a definite general knowledge of when the Lord will return.

If we are trusting in Christ and looking for His coming, Paul said that even the very day would not surprise us! In fact, Jesus exhorted, “If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief” (Revelation 3:3), saying, in other words, He will come as a thief only to those who are not watching!  Furthermore, Jesus rebuked those who did not understand the signs of the times in His day: “O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky, but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” (Matthew 16:3)

God clearly promised that we would know at least approximately when Messiah will return, and even“the day” will not surprise us, as the Holy Spirit revealed through Paul.

Every generation has experienced these signs to some extent, but no generation until ours has watched THE ultimate sign--the regathering of Israel. Jesus said the generation when Israel blossoms like a fig tree would  behold His return. As believers have prayed for 2,000 years, “Maranatha, Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”

Healing Message by Christine Darg posted February 2009

God has given us a covenant of healing in the Torah and an ordinance of healing in the New Testament. The Lord reveals his Name as Yehovah Rapha,  "I am the Lord your physician that heals you." But the covenant of healing in Exodus 15 v 26 has conditions. This is a reality that many overlook when trying to get a quick fix of healing from God.

Then we have the ordinance in the New Testament in James chapter 5 v 14. "Is there any sick amongst you? Let him call for the elders of the church. And let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord, And the prayer of faith- ( not the prayer of unbelief)-- will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he committed sins they will be forgiven." So confession of sin is part of the deal. It’s not just the prayer of faith but the confession of the sin also. Furthermore, the sick person must have the faith to call for the elders--you can’t necessarily insist to somebody, "Well, I’ve decided to bring the elders to you." No, the sick person is supposed to be the one who should exhibit the faith and the presence of mind to call for the anointing. That's the Biblical protocol.

God speaks of a Covenant of Healing, and I want to remind you of his character. . . .he is a covenant- keeping God.  The passage in Exodus says. . . ."if you will diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God." This is where we can miss it. We might be obeying generally what the Word of God requires (the written Logos word) but God also speaks to us from time to time with a Rhema, a spoken word. If I don’t heed the voice of the Lord, how will I expect him then to allow me to walk in healing? We have to obey the Logos (the written word) and also the Rhema, the individual instructions the Lord gives us by his voice as well. In other words, there are some things that are lawful that he will not allow you to do maybe for a season because he’s watching to see if you are going to obey his voice and do what is right in his sight. It’s amazing how many people who attend church are not doing what is right because they no longer know or disobey the precepts of the Lord.

"Give ear to his commandments and keep all of his statutes. Then I will put none of these diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians for I am Yehovah Rapha the Lord who heals you." So fornicators, adulterers, hypocrites and the spiritually careless, I want you to note . . .there are conditions to divine health. God's blessings don't come down by accident. When we meet the condition, then we have the guarantee because "all of God’s promises are yes and amen." (2 Corinthians 1: 20) Or, all of God’s promises are "amen and amen." That's what the Hebrew says: "yes, yes," a double affirmative.  If we meet the conditions, healing is guaranteed because "God is not a man that he can lie." (Numbers 23: 19) Therefore his word is trustworthy.
Exodus 25
Plainly mentioned are the consequences of sin in the 10 commandments. "You should not bow down to other gods and worship them, for I Yehovah am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers, on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me." Oh, dear, there are real consequences to my actions and decisions! I’ve got to be doubly careful what I do-- not only because I do not want to destroy myself, but I also have my children to consider--will my sin boomerang on them? I don’t have any grandchildren yet. But I don’t want the consequences of my actions to bring a curse on the generations following me because my sons have got enough obstacles to deal with already just by living in this fallen world.

One reason why I’m blessed is because my parents lived a godly, righteous life. We can receive from godly parents a measure of blessings and destiny. But even if you are a first generation believer, you receive a clean slate when the Savior has saved you, and you can break every generational curse. Declare, "Lord, I thank you that your blood that You shed for me on the Tree is the greatest detergent in the world." Most of the time when you wash clothes, you just throw them into the machine. But there are times when a stubborn stain has to be soaked. There are some sins that are so terrible you’ve got to let the atoning blood of Jesus soak down into that sin to remove the deepest stain of sin. His blood is a deep cleanser that removes the vilest of sin. Jesus Himself on the tree became the curse for us so that we don’t need to bear any of these curses in our generation or in the generations following.

In Numbers Chapter 12 we read how Miriam and Aaron murmured against their brother Moses. We see that there are sins of the tongue that can bring a curse and even diseases. Speaking against God’s anointed brings trouble and indignation from the Lord. The Lord's blessing lifted until she repented and Miriam contracted leprosy as a conseuence of speaking against God’s anointed servant Moses.  We are reminded to guard our tongues. This is vitally important.

Again in Numbers 21 v 5, the people spoke against God and against Moses. They complained, "Why had he brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness where there is no food and water?" So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people and the snakes bit the people and many died.  Therefore the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned for we have spoken against the Lord and against you.”  We read this account and think of it as being thousands of years behind us, but, in fact, how often are we just as guilty when we complain against God or one of his ministers!  Moses prayed for the people and we know what the antidote was-- putting a broze fiery serpent on a pole and those who looked at the snake lived.  That is a picture of Christ being lifted up to become a curse for sins on the Cross, praise the Lord.

Deuteronomy Chapter 28 is the "blessings and cursings" chapter in the Torah and here God makes very clear all the blessings of obedience and the consequences of disobedience. This chapter is especially interesting to me in light of the fact that our ministry toured Mount Gerizim and we visited the Mounts of Blessing/Cursings (Ebal) where the Israelites stood to affirm, “Yes, we will receive these blessings and we will also receive the curses if we disobey.”

There we visited the Samaritan Passover and it was very fascinating. We saw the priestly sacrifices that had been retained in the ceremonies of the Samaritans after millennia. What was so astounding is we could go right up next to the priests and watch them sacrifice animals. Especially as a woman I could never have walked into the holy places and seen these sacrifices in the Temple, but God allowed us to see these things close-up and it was really revelatory.  The archeologist who took us around the Mount of Blessing said that they have just discovered that maybe the other mountain was the Mount of Blessing and that actually we were on Mount Ebal, the mount representing the curses.  I thought to myself, “Wouldn’t that just be like God because all this time the Samaritans had made what amounts to an idol, a high place, out of Gerizim but maybe it wasn’t the Mount of Blessing after all.”  Nevertheless it was amazing to be there and to contemplate that there are blessings on obedience and consequences of disobedience.

Deut. 28 v 1Now it shall come to pass if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God) to observe carefully” (you see, we are so sloppy in the Church today) “all His commandments which I command you today and that the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.”  We need to see the blessings of the Lord chasing after us just as Psalm 23 says.  In the Hebrew "Goodness and mercy shall follow me" means "shall overtake me," so when you are walking in obedience to God you cannot escape the blessings.  They will overtake you, Hallelujah!  “Blessed are you going to be in the city and blessed in the country.” “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body.”  Thank you, my sons are blessed.

This is why we never need to defend ourselves:  “Your enemies shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”  This is our heritage.  “The Lord will command the blessings on you.”  I tell you when God speaks, when He commands you are blessed, no-one can curse you, Hallelujah!

But then in Deu. 28 we see the curses of disobedience, in verse 15.  “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes, cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.”  This passage just goes on and on-- all the diseases, all the terrible curses that are consequences of disobedience.

So now we come to the Psalms, where we have this testimony concerning the believer's relationship with the Almighty: “He daily loads us with benefits.” (Psalm 68: 19) We need to believe it and to confess it often with a berachah (blessing), “Lord, I bless you and THANK you that you are daily loading me with yourself (literal translation of the Hebrew):  benefits of health, benefits of wealth to publish the Gospel, benefits of your loaded presence.”

According to Proverbs 26: 2, it is not possible for an undeserved curse to alight; however, there is a divine order of God's "benefit package," as outlined in Psalm 103: 1-5.  You see, God puts things in order for a reason.  “Forget not all His benefits. . . who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed as the eagles.”  But you don’t receive those benefits before your iniquities are forgiven.  That is why forgiveness is listed first.  So thank God after we have confessed our sins, made restitution, then our diseases are healed.  And our life is redeemed from destruction.  He crowns us with "chesed," loving kindness and tender mercy and our youth is renewed like the eagle.  We receive new body parts because the eagle does.  Praise the Lord!

In Malachi 3: 9, “you are cursed with a curse" if you rob God… (and there are many in the Church that still haven’t taken this on board but this is the Word of God). and He says, “I am the Lord and I change not.”  What about tithing in the New Testament? Jesus said to the Pharisees, “You squabble about tithing cumin--but these things [tithing] you ought to have done.” So tithing is in the New Covenant and here because God changes not he says in Malachi 3, starting with verse 8, “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me!  But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’  He answers, “In tithes and offeringsYou are cursed with a curse.” Oh dear!
But the promise in Malachi 3: 10 is, "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in My house and prove Me now in this”, says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such a blessing that you will not have room enough to contain it.” This promise has proved true in our lives because I'm always having to give away things because of abundance--because we learned to tithe and give offerings.

My father (of blessed memory) taught me to tithe, but giving back 10 per cent to God what belongs to him, does not come naturally.  When I was a child and my father gave me an allowance, he would say, “Now ten per cent of that is God’s.” I was shocked.   A child doesn’t want to give that.  A child from the very beginning says, “No,” and so we have to learn.  I remember every Sunday I would see my father’s tithe offering envelope on the dresser in my parent's bedroom.  He would say, “You cannot afford not to give.”

Heavenly Father, we give You praise for Your Word for how it "reads us," corrects us and guides us as a Lamp.  Deliver us from deception in these last days and cause your Church to love Your Word.   Bless Israel today, Lord, bless and keep her.  Thank you for the privilege of being guardians on the Walls of Jerusalem, conduits of the Holy Spirit to supply strength unto them, to breathe on these slain to give them in prayer mouth to mouth resuscitation that they might live.  So we breathe on Israel the Ruach ofGod and we say, “Live! Israel, you shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord. ”  Hallelu-Yah.

Christine Darg notes on 'GREAT FAITH'

The wonderful passage below in Matthew 8:5-10 talks about GREAT FAITH.

"And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
"

At least seven ingredients of great faith are in this story.

This Roman centurion was not of the household of faith.  He wasn't baptized in the Holy Spirit; he wasn't a member of the synagogue or "church," but nevertheless Jesus ' assessment was that he had GREAT FAITH.
Jesus preached to the Jews.  But like the Syrophonecian woman in the Gospels, this Gentile Roman officer had heard about the power!  And so he went looking for the power.

(1.)  The first step for great faith is to know the source of power.

It's not in your organization or mine.  It's not in personalities, religions or creeds.  It's in Jesus!  Jesus said, "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me."

The world is looking for the one who has the power!  And it's your responsibility and mine to introduce them to the One who has the power!  Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  The source of power, Jesus, is the same yesterday, today and forever.

(2.)  Second step to have great faith is to stop asking for yourself and to start asking on behalf of somebody else.

The centurion came asking for somebody else's need (his servant).

You're so busy praying your problem  rather than the solution!  Your problems are great because you keep reminding yourself  they are great!  If you're going to have great faith, you're going to start believing for somebody else and your faith will begin to rise.

So great faith is big-hearted and touches God for somebody else.  The centurion said, "My servant is at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented."  And Jesus said:  "I will come and heal him."  If your child/spouse is not saved, start praying somebody else's child/spouse will get saved, and God will send somebody to win your family member to the Lord.

(3.) Great faith has great humility.

The centurion said, "I am not worthy."  This was not false humility. He was a leader in his ranks but he knew the protocols of the day. . . that he was a Gentile dog coming to ask a favor of a Jewish rabbi! I love Jesus' reaction. He was not too proud. He said immediately that he would come and heal the servant, no problem.

Ministers need to be accessible to the people. God says we are to be servants of all.  I could mention the dangers for puffed up preachers.   Humble yourself in the sight of God and he will lift you up.

(4.)  Understand your authority in the Name of Jesus.

As a man of authority, the centurion understood Jesus' authority:  "Speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.  For I am  a man under authority, having soldiers under  me:  and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.  When Jesus heard it, he MARVELLED."

You've got power over illness and disease in Jesus' Name!

Under the New Covenant, you've got much more authority than that centurion had!  God has given it unto us.  Jesus said in the Gospel of Luke, "Behold, I give you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and nothing shall in any way harm you!"

(5.)  Great faith speaks the Word!

The centurion said, "Speak the word only!"  Don't waste a lot of time crying and fretting, telling God your hard luck stories, but have the presence of mind to speak the WORD. You're NOT going to speak doubt, you're not going to speak unbelief. You're not going to speak fears and have a prolonged pity party.  You're not going to erode your faith by being around people who say all day  long, "God can't do this, and God can't do that." But you are going to open your mouth and pray the Word!

We need to be with people of "like precious faith."

Associate with believers who  say, "In Jesus' Name you can do it!  You can do it!"  Stop listening to those around you who say, "You can't!  You can't."  Well, God has raised YOU up as a member of the Body of Christ and given YOU power and authority.

If people come to you speaking doubt and unbelief, politely show them  the Word, and if they won’t believe, love them from a distance.  Otherwise, they'll destroy your faith and the works of God.

Here’s a very important faith principle that I learned many years ago from a man of God:  Believe that God will  honor your faith at all times.  Don't ever blame the person you are praying for that he or she doesn’t have enough faith.  As soon as you put the blame on the other person, your faith will diminish, and you'll always be looking for other excuses.  But if you will say, "God, I should have had more faith.  If I had been in the place with You, O God, that I ought to have been, that person would not still be sick and in pain."

Quote the Word:  chapter  and verse.  Like a lawyer building a case, remind the Lord of his promises. Shall not the Judge of the whole earth do right? "God, this is what you said!"  And he's not going to fail his Word, for he says not one word of all his promises has ever failed.  Quote the Word; it will build your faith, and you will begin to see the evidence.

(6.)  Great faith never blames the Lord.

We may fail Him time and time again, but His Word never fails, and I can say with Pilate of old, "I find no fault in Him!"  Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke used to say, "If there is any weakness or fault, it is within me and within you, but there is none in Jesus."

(7.) Great faith is not afraid of the "hard cases."

It is up to us to release faith to see the signs and wonders and miracles.  Don't be afraid or intimidated to pray for the hard cases.  They are only OPPORTUNITIES for God to demonstrate his power.

When you pray for aches and pains, nobody can see them.  But when they see somebody healed and restored who has suffered a stroke, who was carried in on a stretcher, etc., blind eyes opened, God receives great glory.  Don't worry about what you think is hard: "Which is easier to say:  thy sins be forgiven thee, or arise, take up thy bed and walk?"

Let the boldness of a lion, the boldness of the Holy Spirit come upon our lives that we might take a step of faith and command the devil and watch God begin to work.

Don't ever say God hasn't called you and God hasn't anointed you, for God has called us all and he had anointed every believer. Anybody who doesn't believe that God will really heal is foolish to venture to say to somebody, "Come let me pray for you."  But know that the Lord is going to honor his Word because of the Great Commission in the 16th chapter of the Gospel of Mark.

A CALL TO BELIEVERS WORLDWIDE: "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?" (Isaiah 58: 6)
TAKE PART IN THE FRIDAY FAST AS THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADS YOU
By Christine Darg
Early in the morning before the 7/7 London bombings, I could not sleep; I asked the Lord why. He said, "I am calling you to call My Church to corporate fasting on Fridays to contain and to restrain Islamic terrorism."

Later, in confirmation, a Christian Arab in Baghdad wrote to me concerning Islamic terrorism and quoted Jesus in Matthew 17:21: "This kind does not come out except by prayer and fasting."

For many years many of us have been praying and fasting individually for the Muslim world, but now Islam is no longer viewed as a "special interest missions group." The threat of Islamic terrorism has now become the concern of every true worshipper of the God of Israel. In Derek Prince's book, "Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting," he stated that there are some answers we never obtain until we add fasting to our prayers.

Friday is the day that much hatred and rhetoric is fomented by radicals in mosques. The Lord's solemn call to fast and to pray is not intended to extend into the Sabbath day of rest, which begins Friday evening at mealtime. It is intended to consist of afflicting our souls with fasting some time during the day, either breakfast and/or lunch on Fridays, as the Spirit leads, and as a way of humbling ourselves to entreat His mercy corporately.

In Israel, a security fence can deter some terrorism, but in most nations we cannot build a wall to protect ourselves from the terrorist threat within and outside our countries. Nevertheless "The weapons of our warfare are not physical but are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds." Corporate prayer and fasting can bring victory and delay divine judgments in this time of great peril.

"If My people who are called by My name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7: 14)

This call is not intended to be a "religious" fast. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to participate in this Spiritual Summons during the strategic hours on the Islamic holy day, Fridays-- perhaps forfeit one meal, two meals, perhaps a partial fast. But do participate in the EVERY FRIDAY FAST as often as possible to be a part of this corporate response to Heaven.

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." (2 Chronicles 16:9)

"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." (Amos 3: 7)

We humbly implore you not to disregard this call. For many years in Jerusalem some of us have faithfully banded together to pray specifically for the irreversible overthrow of the Pharaoh-like principality that is holding more than a billion souls captive. Therefore this call from Heaven was not given by chance; the Lord says, "Be not distracted nor indulgent but put your hand to this plough of fasting and prayer and you will be numbered among those who stand in the gap and build up My hedge to avert many calamities and disasters."

As you fast, pray:

~ that we will be forgiven for our gross national sins; as we humble ourselves Heaven may decide not to allow the terrorists to scourge us with weapons of mass destruction. God who is plenteous in mercy may leave behind a blessing and stay his Hand on ripe judgments.
